We offer a flexible range of flooring solutions, including traditional softwood joists, engineered metal-web joists, Glulam beams for longer spans and pre-assembled floor cassettes. Each system is designed to provide strength, stability and efficient installation, helping you choose the right solution for your project.
Our Easi-Joist metal web floor system is a precision-engineered alternative to traditional solid timber joists, offering excellent strength, stability and design flexibility. The open web construction allows plumbing, electrics, heating pipework and ventilation ducting to pass through the floor zone without unnecessary drilling, notching or complex re-routing, making it particularly well suited to modern homes using MVHR systems.
Because each joist is designed and manufactured to the exact span and loading requirements of the project, the system helps reduce site alterations, installation time and material waste. Metal web joists are also lighter than conventional solid softwood joists, making them ideal for forming pre-assembled floor cassettes that can be lifted into position quickly and safely. With reduced shrinkage compared with solid softwood floor joists, improved dimensional stability, and the ability to engineer the floor to minimise deflection and vibration, Easi-Joists provide a quiet, efficient and high-performance flooring solution.
Our joist systems can be supplied as individual joists for on-site installation or pre-assembled as floor cassettes to help speed up the build programme. Each cassette is designed for efficient lifting and installation, with integrated lifting straps and taped joints to help reduce the risk of water ingress during construction. Depending on the project requirements, cassettes can also be supplied with a protective peel-off film or a pre-finished waterproof deck for added durability.
Metal web joists create open zones within the floor, making it much easier to run pipes and cables without drilling. This speeds up installation, reduces labour, and avoids compromising the structure.
Floor cassettes are manufactured off site as large, pre-assembled floor sections with decking already fitted, then delivered ready for installation. This reduces on-site labour, measuring and manual handling, allowing floors to be installed quickly and safely. Once in place, they provide a stable working platform for the next stage of the build.
Yes. Our floor systems, particularly metal web joists, are well suited to underfloor heating. The open design allows for easy installation of pipework and helps keep the process efficient on site.
